You can go for two-three weeks without food, but only two-three days without water. Water is essential for our bodies. 60-80% of our body is made up from water right down to the cellular level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Health professionals recommend drinking 2 litres of water per day in order to maintain correct hydration levels. If we don\u2019t keep our bodies hydrated, we suffer with lowered energy levels and reduced brain function.  We can have tap water, highland spring water, arctic glacier water, slightly sparkling, fruit flavoured, isotonic. And there are water sommeliers, who can tell you where a particular water comes from, and which is the best to go with different foods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bible likens our need for water to our need for God:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b281f17293493967669d72d9b6954b81\" style=\"color:#4c5256;font-style:italic;font-weight:400\"><em>     \u2018Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters\u2026\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-f85958fc6bae380eb1e31a680a977724\" style=\"color:#4c5256;font-style:italic;font-weight:400\"><em>     \u2018\u2026my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.\u2019 \u2018\u2026they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them\u2026\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we need our daily intake of water, so, in order to maintain our faith, we need to be daily refreshed by God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4b92958ec8ded2d25f83408c6a7a8923\" style=\"color:#4c5256;font-style:italic;font-weight:400\"><em>I heard the voice of Jesus say,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-bc5a107987599e3a945c61fd4fbd27b4\" style=\"color:#4c5256;font-style:italic;font-weight:400\"><em>&#8220;Behold, I freely give<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-24d3e983b9528266638725f5c73e1c72\" style=\"color:#4c5256;font-style:italic;font-weight:400\"><em>the living water; thirsty one,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6fd338b14def89107646bfa22d892fa7\" style=\"color:#4c5256;font-style:italic;font-weight:400\"><em>stoop down and drink, and live.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-52a628bd48e292f169ef585973f587a5\" style=\"color:#4c5256;font-style:italic;font-weight:400\"><em>I came to Jesus, and I drank of that life-giving stream;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9cc9d5a309898ce8c88d67a3e4f73270\" style=\"color:#4c5256;font-style:italic;font-weight:400\"><em>my thirst was quenched, my soul revived, and now I live in Him.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-96fe234ea5fc27cb9783a46faf156739\" style=\"color:#151873;font-size:20px;font-style:italic;font-weight:500\">Rev Phil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Water is essential to life.
