Baptisms

A baptism (or christening, when the person is a child) is a ceremony and sacrament of the church that admits the recipient to the Christian community; not just St Peter’s Bromyard but any Christian church, anywhere.

Anyone of any age can be baptised; the ceremony involves the ritual application of water and a promise made by the baptised (or in the case of a child, by their parents and god-parents) to “turn” to Christ.
